Indirect “proximity talks” between Israel and the Palestinian Authority will not lead to any breakthroughs, Defense Minister Ehud Barak told United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during a meeting Wednesday. Only direct negotiations will allow for a permanent, two-state solution, he said.

The two discussed ways to move quickly from proximity talks to direct talks.

Barak and Clinton also discussed other Middle East issues. Israel is concerned over Lebanon’s difficulty in standing up to Hizbullah, Barak said.

Lebanon will bear responsibility for any attacks launched on Israel from its territory, he warned.

Regarding Gaza, Barak told Clinton that Israel is working to increase the amount of supplies allowed into the region via Israeli crossings, but will continue to control the flow of goods in order to ensure that terrorists do not obtain weapons or weapon-making materials.

He expressed appreciation for America’s favorable response to the Turkel Commission, which is to investigate a violent clash between IDF soldiers and foreign activists who attempted to break Israel’s naval blockade on Gaza. The United Nations has termed the commission insufficient, and is seeking to create an international inquiry.

Israel will continue to prevent ships from reaching Gaza, Barak said. Instead, he said, they will be rerouted to Ashdod, where any goods destined for Gaza will be inspected and then sent through via land crossings.

The defense minister also mentioned kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who was abducted by Gaza terrorists four years ago. Shalit’s captors have not allowed Red Cross representatives to visit the captive soldier, in violation of international law. Who’s to blame for the current global financial crisis? According to a bestselling book in China, which is leading the sales charts in the country, the answer is clear: The Jews.

In the eyes of most Chinese, Jewish people are considered “smart,” “rich” and “good at making money.” Bookstores in China offer a variety of self-help books titled, “How to make money like Jews,” and “The secret of Jews’ global success.”

Until recently, the notion that Jews and money were inseparable carried no anti-Semitic undertone in the country, but a relatively new book called “Currency Wars” threatens to change all that.

The book’s author, Song Hongbing, claims that behind world-changing events like the battle of Waterloo, Adolf Hitler’s rise to power, President Kennedy’s assassination, and the deep recession in Asia during the 1990s stood an intricate conspiracy aimed at increasing Jews’ wealth and influence.

Song, a Chinese computer engineer and history buff who resides in the United States, writes that almost every defining historical moment has been instigated by Jewish bankers, and mainly the Rothschild family, which Song says dominates the global banking system, including the US Federal Reserve System.

‘important publication’ or ‘nonsense’? Song’s book was published in China about a year and-a-half ago, and initially sold an insignificant number of copies. But in recent months the global crisis has turned the book into a hit. Estimates put sales of “Currency War” well over a million, not including hundreds of thousands of illegal copies that can also be downloaded off the net.

Responses among readers vary; online discussions about the book reveal that many are convinced this is the most important publication ever written, as it “exposes the truth behind global economy.” However, others claim that this is “nonsense” and say that Song, who has never studied economics, simply pieced together a theory made up of several delusional conspiracy theories published on the internet.

Song’s publishers, a subsidiary of a state-owned publishing house, boast the fact that the book has been read by all leading financial executives in the country, as well as state leaders.

Song himself has become a local celebrity in China, and is often invited to lecture at financial conventions and is interviewed on TV as a famous financial analyst.

This has got to be one of the most incredibly GREAT articles I’ve read in my entire life. Emanuel, as usual, you are one incredible writer, an expresser of the truth unparalleled. If this writing of yours were a piece of art, it would be a masterpiece! I touch many, many giant things in my writings. But you’ve touched, and reached deep inside all of those things and more, and you have brought all the things I’ve only ‘touched’! This writing of yours, is a MASTERPIECE.

You all know that I told you President George Bush, when he forced the throwing of all Jews, men, women and children, from currently Arab Occupied Gaza, that within a week of doing this Hurricane Katrina struck America like nothing had struck her in the past hundred years. Hundreds of Americans were killed by the wrath in this storm. For a while after Katrina, even Bush was scared, and he seemed to know he was responsible. True, he threw away his thought that ‘oops, maybe there really is a god out there somewhere.’ several months later, but for a while at least, he slowed down his war against Jerusalem. He began it again later, with his Condosleaza Rice being sent against Jerusalem, time and again.

Well, then came our islamic chrisian atheist, Barak Hussein Obama. A man I do not believe was elected, but who I believe was put in office because muslims will NEVER allow a woman in the office of American President, so it will never happen. And now Obama comes against Jerusalem, against Israel, against all Jews. He joins those who did the Holocaust of the People Israel, the Europeans, in his war against the Nation Israel. Here,

WHY DO THE ‘OTHER’ PEOPLES HATE THE JEWS? by Emanuel A. Winston, Middle East Analyst & Commentator

For several thousand years we Jews have had to suffer extraordinary hatred from all quarters. What was our great error that triggered this pathological rage when even the most bestial terrorists are given barely a passing glance?

Apparently, we Jews brought into view what humanity did not want. We brought to earth a G-d who displaced the myriad panoply of pagan gods held in great esteem by the pagan peoples and by their village shamans or priests. This new One G-d demanded that humans restrain their worst behavior and cruelty.

Since they, the priest cults, were not able to voice their complaints directly to this new G-d, they turned their rage against His messengers, the Jewish people.

The Jews had voluntarily agreed to be a “Light Unto The Nations” within the Covenant G-d made with the Jewish people. The families and descendants of Abraham, Moses and the Prophets were merely to live the life of Torah and to set an example as a “Light Unto the Nations”. G-d chose the Jews because we agreed to follow His Commandments and Laws which He gave them on Mt. Sinai.

The pagan priest cults hated the restraints of One Invisible G-d and that hatred was passed on to the Jewish people. The pagan priests couldn’t compete with this new invisible omnipotent G-d. Some attributes of the One Invisible G-d were adopted while the ‘others’ tried creating modified versions of this One G-d.

Primitive man feared and worshiped all things he could not understand. Through to the present, fear and religion played a deep role in this behavior of man. From whole civilizations down to the smallest local village, the priest cults set the rules. Their custom was to have many gods to please and appease. Sometimes they engaged in human sacrifice, throwing virgins or children to their gods. They prayed for weather to get a good crops, victory in war, fertile wives, healthy children. Their many gods had a significant role in what humans thought the gods could give them.

The most important benefit they sought was that the gods would allow man to be alive after his death. Thus the creative rituals of burials, as practiced by the Egyptians for instance, was to send their dead kings to an after-life with food, wives, riches and to preserve them with mummification in order to arrive – ready to live again in the next world. Every civilization had their own rituals to appease their gods, particularly when marching to war.

But, something happened that sent a shock through the accustomed system. The new idea of there being only One Supreme Power, in effect, diminished the status of the priest cults and the myriads of gods they served.

It began with the leadership of a prophetic visionary, Avraham, who had the belief that there was only One G-d. His belief was confirmed by that One G-d. In time, through teachings of the ancient Prophets guided by Torah, the Hebrew people did, indeed, become a “Light Unto The Nations” an example of how mankind should conduct his life.

At this point, there developed a conflict. The idea of One G-d was gaining acceptance by the pagans, coupled with resentment. Why should an insignificant tribe of Jews claim a special relationship with the new One and Only G-d? Although the Jews did not press the pagan tribes to convert to Torah Laws and abandon their worship of their deities, nevertheless, the mere presence of a people who lived by what came to be known as the 10 Commandments and the 613 “Mitzvot” (Good Deeds – the Laws that Jews should live by) challenged their own pagan beliefs. The Jews’ personal conduct was their “Light Unto The Nations”.

Why should the greater civilizations in size and power be demoted to line up behind the Jews for the privileges that should rightfully be theirs and theirs alone? Although the Jews did not claim such privileges over all others, nevertheless, other religious cults developed the ideology that somehow they should be superior and be granted the most prized rewards of “Life After Death”. If, indeed, the Jews had this secret, then it must be taken from them.

While there was considerable reluctance to give up the pagan rituals of their past practices of worshiping multiple deities, be they animals, trees, mythical gods in the Roman and Greek tradition – such as sun and moon gods, idols – nevertheless, the One G-d of the Jews took hold.

But, even then the priest cults managed to keep some of their pagan practices, mixed in with the new acceptance of One G-d. The Jews, however, did not change their way of worship, guided by the Laws of Torah as given to the Jewish people by G-d on Mt. Sinai. Nor did they proselytize and try to convert others. They lived simply within their assigned role to be a “Light Unto The Nations” and for that, they were hated.

The Nations, the ‘other’ peoples – having accumulated whatever they could build, conquer, gathering wealth – wanted more. The priest cults promised them more IF they followed whatever rituals and appeasements to their panoply of gods. Mostly, they promised what they could not deliver. How could they promise a glorious life after death IF they followed incantations, giving money to the priests to build a large building with soaring spires and vaulted ceilings that will surely please their gods?

There was, of course, the suspicion that the Jews were somehow first in line for what Christians call resurrection or life-after-death. Why should the Jews have this privilege when new and better religions should serve the One G-d and expropriate the Covenant G-d made with the Jews?

A war against the Jews began with what we today call propaganda or demonization. The priest cults may have reluctantly accepted the concept of One G-d but, that did not mean they had to accept G-d’s Jewish messengers.

Clearly, in their estimation, this One G-d might have made an error in choosing Jews to be a “Light Unto The Nations”.

How could G-d possibly select a group or tribe of Hebrews over all others?

Were not great civilizations more justified in being the Chosen People?

Were they not richer, more powerful, had greater armies and had conquered more people?

Did they not have more gods, more idols to worship?

How dare these upstart Jews ignore the many gods offered them to join the new ways!

The rage of the priest cults was passed down to the people. Jews were to be hated as “imposters” as G-d’s servants on earth. Soon the myth developed and grew -that Jews were somehow responsible for whatever happened on the planet that negatively affected the people. Poor crop yields, drought, famine….plagues like the bubonic plague of black death were certainly blamed on the Jews.

Then came the canards of blood libel. This demonization of the Jews was only limited to the imagination of the Church clerics.

Surely the Jewish ritual of bathing before the Sabbath and washing before eating was a dangerous, alien ritual. However, it seems that the Jewish ritual of washing helped the Jews stay clean which improved their health over all and, therefore, fewer died of the Plagues and other common illnesses.

Then what became “the Church”, led by the apostate Jews, Saul, who changed his name to Paul and ‘borrowed’ a Jew as the Messiah and lord. As in all pagan, sacrificial cults, the killing of Jews became their custom and ritual to please their adopted Jewish lord.

Surely, the Jew Jesus would bless them with a life-after-death if they could either manage to convince Jews that Jesus was a man-child of the One G-d and the Messiah for whom the Jews have been waiting.

But, if they (the Jews) did not accept this mandate, then they were to be disposed of. Killing off the family of Jesus seemed to present no ethical or moral conundrum to the priest cults, particularly since they produced the blood libels that demonized the Jews and supported ages of murder.

Both Christianity from the year 1 C.E. (Common Era) and Islam 632 C.E. took parallel patterns in denying the Jew, calling the Jews a threat.

However, human sacrifice really never left the way of the pagans. Muslims kill Jews, Christian and all “Infidels” (non-Muslims). Nothing has changed. Remember – Most Muslims are not terrorists; however, almost all Terrorists in the last 50 years have been Muslims. (1)

Clearly, the Jews must give up their claims to G-d’s Covenant so the Christians and Muslims can fight it out to be the “last warrior standing”, then they would be justified to submit their petition to G-d to be His sole representative on the Planet – and then, perhaps the Universe.

It is now 2010 and we observe a black President, following both the Christian and Muslim tracks of demonizing the Jewish Nation/State of Israel and her people. That Jews have contributed to mankind’s well-being in massive disproportion to their small numbers is regarded as ‘irrelevant’.

We observe American students on University campuses, marching like Adolph Hitler’s brown-shirts, enraged that there is a State of Israel. The Christian nations of Europe who gathered to assist Hitler in a genocidal massacre of their Jews once again are ramping up their anger against Israel as if they have discovered why their civilizations are failing.

While there are many who disbelieve in G-d’s Retribution, one is struck by the actions of a volcano in Iceland, spewing toxic ash – which covered the continent of Europe – just 70 years after the Holocaust left a mass graveyard in Europe holding the ashes of 6 million Jews.

We observed a similar spewing forth of crude oil, filling the Gulf of Mexico just last week, covering its shorelines, destroying fisheries – perhaps for decades. Breeding estuaries for fish, birds, turtles and other creatures – as well as tourist beaches – upon which men depend for their living may be contaminated for years to come.

Perhaps it’s merely coincidental that as President Barack Hussein Obama and the European countries join with the Ishmaelites in planning to eliminate the Jewish State, global catastrophe stalks their nations.

Money fails, violent weather, awakening the earth’s core to cause earthquakes and volcanoes demonstrate how fragile we are and so easily eliminated.

Perhaps those hostile to the Jewish people and their Nation/State of Israel will arrive in the world to come in the chaos of utter blackness and wonder what they have done to deserve such pain.

The New York Times, in a front page article, described how President Obama appears to be reconsidering, if not turning away from, the historic strategic alliance between the U.S. and Israel. In remarks made at the end of the multinational nuclear security talks, Obama reinforced this message, saying the following:

It is a vital national security interest of the United States to reduce these conflicts because whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower[.] … And when conflicts break out, one way or another, we get pulled into them. And that ends up costing us significantly in terms of both blood and treasure.

It is almost impossible to exaggerate the significance of these two lines as to the president’s thinking. It is also impossible to read these and not realize that this president is the greatest threat to the strategic alliance of the U.S. and Israel since the founding of the modern Jewish state in 1948. The first sentence is in some ways the more incredible. No prior American president has been resentful or unhappy about leading the world’s greatest superpower. This can mean only one of two things:

1. The president is suggesting that he believes that America has used our military power improperly for the most part in the past and has not been a force for good in the world.

2. Obama thinks it unfair that America has power and others don’t. He is, in other words, a redistributionist in everything, including military power, among the nations of the world.

So it is better, it would seem, to weaken the U.S. and spread power around. A lot of what has occurred the last fifteen months makes sense in light of this extraordinarily foolish statement. Obama appears to think that the world would be a better place if, say, Russia, China, or maybe Venezuela and Sudan had more power, and the U.S. less.

The second sentence is further evidence of how Obama is poisoning the well by implying, if not directly suggesting, that U.S. combat deaths (and our deficit, too) are due to Israeli intransigence. For over a year, the president has pushed hard against Israeli construction in Jerusalem and the West Bank, arguing that the settlement issue has been the reason for the failure to achieve peace or even get peace talks started between Israel and the Palestinians. This has been a colossal misreading of the history of the conflict.

Direct peace talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians have proceeded for years, despite Israeli construction in the territories or in Jerusalem, which has been a unified city and legally part of Israel since 1967. It was only after Obama demanded publicly that Israel halt all settlement construction east of the Green Line that the Palestinians refused to come to any talks with Israel without Obama’s demands first being met. Why would the Palestinians appear to be more pro-Israel than the American president, who was working to deliver Israeli concessions to them before talks began?

The “blood and treasure” comment indicates that the president’s approach to Israel has become far uglier and more ruthless. Not only has he driven the Palestinians away from any peace process, but he appears to be suggesting that the failure to achieve peace between Israel and the Palestinians — which, of course, in the words of the president and his administration, is primarily due to Israeli stubbornness on settlement construction — is causing U.S. combat deaths and imposing a heavy burden on our Treasury. When the president says we are “drawn into these conflicts,” which ones does he mean? Which wars did Israel pull us into? Have American forces ever been called in to fight with or for Israel?

The president must mean Iraq and Afghanistan. This is a blood libel signifying that the president has gone even farther than Professors Steven Walt and John Mearsheimer, who in their book The Israel Lobby blamed the Iraq war on Israel. But Walt and Mearsheimer did not accuse Israel and its lobby of drawing the U.S. into war with Afghanistan. This new pattern of very cheap shots aimed at blaming Israel for combat deaths started with leaks about what General Petraeus supposedly said in a private briefing to Defense Department officials. It turns out that the leak of what Petraeus said was (surprise, surprise) not exactly what the general had argued.

More to the point, is there really anything new about Arab and Muslim majority nations having problems with Israel and mentioning them to every American official within earshot? For sixty years, U.S. ambassadors to these countries have been routinely sending messages to the State Department that America would be loved more in these countries if only the U.S. would abandon its support for Israel. Leaders in these countries have for decades used Israel to divert attention away from their own corrupt, totalitarian rule and economic failures. American ambassadors, practicing a bit of dual loyalty of their own, have served as mouthpieces in Washington for these regimes.

But the new dual loyalty charge is not for the people who spout the Arab or Muslim party line within the State Department, but for Dennis Ross, who was set up as the poster boy for dual loyalty for being sensitive to Israel’s domestic political considerations when offering advice to the president on future policy in the area. Ross actually has some experience in this area of diplomacy, unlike many key Obama aides. Ross’s experience has taught him that when the U.S. and Israel enjoy good relations, Israel is more willing to make concessions to the Palestinians because they can trust that America stands with them and has their back — and won’t stab them in the back. Obama has tried to abrogate agreements with the Israelis that previous presidents have made — and that Congress has affirmed. Obama himself has a habit of breaking his own promises; he promised to keep disputes with Israel behind closed doors — where, diplomatically, they belong. Instead, he has violated this pledge, and much more frequently of late.

Finally, some Jewish organizations and leaders are pushing back, including the Anti-Defamation League, The Orthodox Union, Ron Lauder and the World Jewish Congress, Elie Wiesel, and the America-Israel Friendship League. Regrettably, little has been heard from the Jewish Democrats in the House and the Senate, who seem reluctant to take on a president of their own party. They have signed on to AIPAC letters, but refused (with very few exceptions) to go public with any criticism. It is rare, to say, the least, for Chuck Schumer to hold his tongue on anything he cares about.

Increasingly, the president’s approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict seems to mirror that of his former Hyde Park friend and mentor, Israel-hating Professor Rashid Khalidi, whose most recent article on the conflict appears to channel Obama’s latest assault on Israel over Jerusalem.

During the presidential campaign, Obama’s defenders in the Jewish community argued that Reverend Wright — and Ali Abunimah, and Rashid Khalidi, and Bill Ayers, and Samantha Power, and Zbigniew Brzezinski — really had no role in influencing the president’s thinking on Israel and that he was as reliably pro-Israel as, say, Bill Clinton. It has turned out that Obama really is a man of the left, and his position on Israel reflects the dominant thinking on Israel in academia and other elite leftist circles. Israel does not move him (except to anger). But the Palestinian story (or at least the Palestinian narrative of their story) and the sympathy for the perceived weaker party do seem to drive his thinking. Despite the obvious, some Jews, such as Ron Kampeas, continue to carry water for him and parse his words to try to mask the blatant hostility to Israel.

If you were expecting any mea culpas from some in the Jewish community, you won’t get them. Martin Peretz, Alan Dershowitz, and Ed Koch are among the very few Jewish Obama-supporters who have become very critical of the president’s sharp turn against Israel. The Jews of silence greatly outnumber them. History, I think, will not judge the latter group kindly.

All of this serves as a backdrop for Iran and its nearly completed nuclear program. Iran was not the focus of the multinational nuclear talks last week. Increasingly, there is talk from the administration that sanctions may not do the job, but the alternative of military action is never discussed anymore, even as a fallback option. A New York Times story Sunday reveals that Defense Secretary Gates wrote a “secret” memo to administration officials in January, distressed that the U.S. lacked a strategy to curb Iran’s nuclear program. It is hard to see how the Iranians would fear an American military attack when the president is at the same time pushing for a pullback in American commitments abroad and sees military strength as a burden.

Obama has worked to delay sanctions measures coming out of Congress. He seems willing to accept a lowest-common-denominator sanctions resolution from the Security Council, just to show that something was passed. The stage is set, I think, absent Israeli military action, for the U.S. to accept a nuclear Iran and the enormous strategic vulnerability that that outcome will bring to Israel (and other U.S. allies), given Iran’s fanaticism and genocidal urges.

Iran already has a history of aggressive behavior to create death and destruction for American forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, and it has used its proxy terror army Hezb’allah in Argentina, Lebanon, and with Hamas in Gaza. A nuclear Iran will test the West far more than the country does today. When the balance of power in the region changes and the threats grow, the administration’s party line will be that more could have been done to win stronger international support to challenge Iran if only Israel had made our job easier by caving in to the demands of the president and the Palestinians.

The abandonment of an ally is on display. It is not a pretty picture. The people who may have some leverage with the president include the leaders and other elected officials in the Democratic Party, particularly the nearly four dozen Jewish House and Senate members. They need to do a lot more than sign letters. Of course, the hard left, including many Jews in that toxic environment, are thrilled with Obama’s attacks on Israel.

What is more discouraging is that individual Jewish Democrats and organizations such as the NJDC, who maintain that they support a strong U.S.-Israel relationship, are blinded by partisan politics and continue to shill for the president and his pro-Israel bona fides — a more ludicrous proposition each week. It is time for those who actually care about Israel’s future to speak up and push back.

Unlike 1938, we cannot say this time that we could not anticipate the horrors that might be in front of us. A nuclear Iran is not just a game-changer, but a potential game-ender. The Obama administration chose to go to war with Israel over new housing in a Jewish neighborhood in Jerusalem, while Iran marches on towards becoming a nuclear menace. This suggests incredibly misplaced priorities. Or far worse.

After the Pope and the Catholic Church at large failed miserably at placating the angry and disgusted masses after the public became aware of the widespread child abuse scandal, the Vatican’s top diplomat was deployed to explain what had happened. For those of you who have stopped keeping score, the _Church had already tried to blame the media and the 1960s for the epidemic_ (http://liberalconspiracy.org/2010/02/17/liberalsmedia-to-blame-for-catholic-child-abuse/) [1]. Then they shifted to blaming the victims, _insisting that promiscuous children were to blame for their being tied up and abused in the local rectory_ (http://slog.thestranger.com/slog/archives/2010/04/08/provoked-and-careless) [2]. That didn’t go over so well (for obvious reasons). So let’s pick on another historically marginalized group, the Holy See must have reasoned. _How about the Jews?_ (http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/apr/11/catholic-bishop-blames-jews) [3] They don’t like _Pope Benedict’s Nazi connections_ (http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1138218.html) [4] anyway, so little love lost there! As you may have guessed, that attempt fared badly too. Enter the diplomat. Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, the secretary of state at the Vatican, said that it’s homosexuals that bear the blame for the culture of child abuse that flourishes among Catholic priests. In an address in Chile this week, _Bertone justified the blame game with pseudoscience_ (http://www.abc.net.au/worldtoday/content/2010/s2872436.htm) [5]: Many psychologists and psychiatrists have shown that there is no link between celibacy and pedophilia, but many others have shown and I’ve been told recently that there is a relationship between homosexuality and pedophilia. That is the truth. I read it in a document written by psychologists, so that is the problem. Italian activists were among the first to respond to the comments. _From Reuters_ (http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE63D24520100414) [6]: “This is a scientific absurdity. The World Health Organization calls homosexuality a variation of human behavior. It is pedophilia that is a pathology, a crime, not homosexuality,” said Franco Grillini, a former parliamentarian who was at the vanguard of Italy’s gay rights movement. “Because they have their own problems with the abuse crisis and don’t know how to handle it, they are trying to pass their ‘cross’ from their shoulders on to ours,” Grillini told Reuters. In response to the outrage, Vatican spokesman Rev. Federico Lombardi presented Church statistics that indicated that _two-thirds of abusive priests are homosexual_ (http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE63D24520100414) [6]. So, when Bertone says he knows that homosexuality is a pathology because he read it somewhere, he’s probably talking about the Vatican’s own writings on the subject, not say, the World Health Organization’s. But, much as _I wouldn’t buy a textbook from the Texas school board_ (http://blog.buzzflash.com/analysis/990) [7], I’m not going to accept wild “scientific” assertions from a group who _will only accept scientific facts that do not conflict with Church dogma_ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humani_Generis#Evolutionism) [8]. How should I know whether those two-thirds of abusive priests weren’t told that God will forgive them if they only confess to their homosexuality? Selective belief in science is the same tack that those who claim to be able to cure a person of homosexuality take. There may not be anywhere near the amount of research connecting homosexuality to pedophilia as there is refuting that connection. But if those peddling a cure keep saying it over and over again, someone is bound to believe it. Perhaps the best example of this is _Richard Cohen’s International Healing Foundation_ (http://www.gaytostraight.org/Home.asp) [9]. As MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow pointed out in an interview with Cohen, his latest book has a passage explicitly connecting homosexuality with pedophilia, which is based on previously discredited research. Still, in black and white _Cohen writes_ (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/12/08/richard-cohen-rachel-maddow_n_385057. html) [10]: Homosexuals are at least 12 times more likely to molest children than heterosexuals; homosexual teachers are at least 7 times more likely to molest a pupil; homosexual teachers are estimated to have committed at least 25 percent of pupil molestation; 40 percent of molestation assaults were made by those who engage in homosexuality. Is this perhaps the same “document written by psychologists” that the Pope’s right-hand man was referring to? Poll: Most U.S. Jews approve of Obama’s approach to Israel

Despite claims that that Israelis are wary of U.S. President Barack Obama, a new poll released on Tuesday shows that most American Jews view their leader and his dealings with Israel in a positive light.

According to the 2010 Annual Survey of American Jewish Opinion, conducted by the American Jewish Committee, 73 percent of American Jews characterize relations between Israel and the U.S. today as “very positive” or “positive.”

In addition to this, 55 percent of American Jews approve of the way the Obama administration is handling U.S.-Israel relations.

In polls quoted in a New York Times article by former American Jewish Congress national director Henry Siegman from a few months prior, Obama is supp orted by only between 6 to ten percent of the Israeli public.

Despite American Jews’ positive outlook on Obama and Israel-U.S. relations, their expectations for a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is less optimistic with 72 percent of respondent saying their view on an improvement in the situation has remain unchanged since the previous year.

The majority of those polled agreed that the goal of Arabs is the “destruction of the state of Israel,” with 80 percent believing peace cannot be achieved with a Hamas-led Palestinian government.

On the subject of Iran, American Jews are almost equally divided for and against the way the Obama administration is handling the issue of a nuclear Iran with 62 percent of respondents saying they would support Israel taking military action against Iran.

I know this would take a lot of guts. A lot more than most people seem to have today. But since the terrorists in Arab occupied Gaza Israel, the land given to them by the American George Bush, who all Americans have figured out as one of the most evil of men in America’s history, have fired rockets and killed ‘muslims’, not ‘Jews’, ‘muslims’ are being killed by those terrorists, now Israel should go back into Gaza, and take it from the American supported terrorist organization ‘Hamas’.

Yes, I know America would go to war if you take Israeli troops into Israel to defend the lives of civilians from Hamas, and defend their lives from the liberals that are there helping Hamas kill people. But you all know America is already at war against Israel. So you might as well let them start officially invading Israel, so you can wipe them back into the Mediterranean. But if you get the Americans to start their war officially, then that would start the fire burning in the American people. Then the American people can FORCE Arab occupied Washington DC, to become American again. Just a thought. America, like Hamas, like Hisbulldung, is at war against Israel. So fight damn it. *shrug*

Gaza Rights Groups Angered by Misfired Terrorist Rocket

Terrorist groups based in Gaza have increased their rocket fire on southern Israel in recent weeks, launching dozens of attacks and murdering one kibbutz worker from Thailand. On Wednesday of this week, Gaza-based human rights organizations spoke out – after a misfired rocket accidentally hit Arabs, not Jews.

The incident took place on Wednesday, when a rocket fired from northern Gaza fell short and hit civilian homes in the Gaza city of Beit Hanoun. Four people suffered shrapnel wounds, and at least two buildings were damaged.

The Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights blasted Hamas over the latest incident. As the ruling power in Gaza, Hamas “is legally obliged to provide protection to civilians… and law enforcement persons must take necessary procedures to protect civilians and their properties,” the group declared.

The organization has not seen fit to condemn attacks on Israeli civilians, which it terms “resistance.” Over 4000 fell on Israeli civilian areas before the Cast Lead Operation and many have been fired on Israel in the past few weeks.

Wednesday’s incident was not the first in which Gaza terrorists accidentally bombed their own people. Several Gaza children have been killed or wounded by misfired Kassam rockets in the past. (IsraelNationalNews.com)
